Woodpecker Class – Church Schools Festival 21st June 2018 – Grimsby Minster

Woodpecker Class – Church Schools Festival 21st June 2018 – Grimsby Minster

We have organised a trip to Grimsby Minster to take part in the ‘Church Schools’ Festival’ for Woodpecker Class.  The trip is for all the children in Woodpeckers Class, regardless of faith.

We will be going on Thursday 21st June 2018, and will be travelling by train from Cleethorpes Railway Station.  We therefore ask that you bring your child to school for 8:30am, so that we can register the children before they travel.  Your child should be collected from school at the usual finish time.

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO OUR END OF SCHOOL TIME AND PROCEDURE

After much consideration and discussions amongst the Senior Leadership Team we have decided to make some changes to our end of school time and procedure.  We are conscious that keeping children safe throughout their time in school and particularly when dismissing them at the end of the day is our key priority and we know that these changes will ensure safeguarding is maintained.

From Monday 4th June we will therefore be dismissing children as following:

Early Years Foundation Stage, Year 1 and Year 2

To be dismissed at 3 pm from their playground area

Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6

To be dismissed at 3.05 pm from their playground area
