We raised an amazing £131.15!

Well done!!

Harvest Festival Thank you!

The children hosted Harvest Festival in St Peter’s Church of England Church, St Peter’s Avenue on Tuesday 25th September, thank you to all the families who joined us. Can we also say a massive thank you for all the donated tins of food we received, they will be donated to the Church for them to distribute throughout the local community.

Juice and a biscuit morning!

On Friday 28th September our pupils & staff raised funds for Macmillan.  We sold juice and a biscuit to all the children during their morning break time.

Our staff made cakes & at lunchtime donated money for a slice.

We raised an amazing £52.15!!!

Thank you all so much for supporting this brilliant cause.

Tesco fundraising!

We are one of the chosen charities for the Tesco Bags For Life in-store fundraising and have the chance to win £4000.  The money will be used to re-vamp The Quad area, between the Vicarage and the glass corridor, so that the children can use the area a great deal more than they are doing.

If you shop in Tesco, please do put your blue tokens, given to you at the tills, into our fundraising pot in the Grimsby and Cleethorpes stores.

Thank you all for your support with this fund raising effort.  As Tesco themselves would say “Every little helps!”

To everyone involved in KS1 and KS2 SATS testing.

Our results this year are the best in the school’s history and this is in no small part to the work and dedication of our teachers, families and pupils. THANK YOU to everyone who’s helped us to achieve this and CONGRATULATIONS to all the children who have proved what brilliant people they are.

Important changes to our end of school time & procedure

After much consideration and discussions amongst the Senior Leadership Team we have decided to make some changes to our end of school time and procedure.  We are conscious that keeping children safe throughout their time in school and particularly when dismissing them at the end of the day is our key priority and we know that these changes will ensure safeguarding is maintained.

From Monday 4th June we will therefore be dismissing children as following:

Early Years Foundation Stage, Year 1 and Year 2

To be dismissed at 3 pm from their playground area

Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6

To be dismissed at 3.05 pm from their playground area

Open Afternoon

Thank you to all our parents, families, friends and grandparents who attended open afternoon on Wednesday 23rd May 2018.

We had 61 families attend and had a fantastic afternoon, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it!

Key Stage 2 Art Day

On Tuesday 30th January 2018, St Peter's C of E Primary Academy played host to several other local schools as we held a Key Stage 2 Art Day. The children really enjoyed creating their arty artwork!
