Computing Vision Statement

We’ll equip the children at St. Peter’s with the ‘technological toolkit’ to interface skilfully with ever-changing technological advancements. As programmers, they’ll confidently control a range of electronic devices. Online will be their domain as they utilise its connectivity both locally and worldwide, with increasing awareness of the dangers contained within.

Subject Intent

The intent of our computing curriculum is to prepare our children for a future that is being increasingly transformed by technology. They’ll develop their skills, knowledge and confidence that they need to be able to become digitally literate. They’ll become ‘drivers’ of the future – using technology to enrich their lives.
