Welcome to Wrens

Welcome to Wrens, our Early Years Foundation Stage class. We are so proud to be part of the very beginning of your child’s school journey, and we work hard to make sure every child feels happy, safe and truly valued from the moment they join us. We want Wrens to feel like a place where children can settle quickly, build strong relationships and grow in confidence every day. 

Our indoor and outdoor learning environments provide children with endless opportunities to play, explore and follow their own interests. Through carefully chosen open-ended resources, we encourage imagination, curiosity and independence, helping children to discover the joy of learning in a way that feels exciting, meaningful and fun. 

In Wrens, we believe children learn best when they feel secure, cared for and at ease. We encourage them to think for themselves, make their own choices and become curious about the world around them. These early experiences are such an important part of supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development, and we are passionate about giving them the very best start.

Our curriculum is thoughtfully planned to spark curiosity and provide rich opportunities for children to develop their knowledge and skills through exploration, play and first-hand experiences. We want every child to leave Wrens as a confident, enthusiastic learner who is proud of what they can do and excited for the next stage of their journey.

We also know just how important parents and carers are in a child’s early years. We truly value the support, encouragement and insight that families bring, and we believe that working closely together helps every child to flourish. By building strong partnerships with parents, we can celebrate each child’s achievements, support their individual needs and make their first experiences of school as positive and successful as possible.

Wrens is a very special place to learn, grow and discover, and we feel privileged to share this important stage with our children and their families.
