Our Year 3 class is a positive, inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to feel confident, valued and ready to learn. Being part of our class means trying your best, challenging yourself and understanding that mistakes are a vital part of the learning journey. Learning is engaging and purposeful, with lessons designed to promote curiosity, discussion and independence while supporting each child to achieve high standards.

Behaviour and attitudes to learning are underpinned by clear expectations and strong relationships. We place great importance on kindness, responsibility and respect, and our classroom reflects the British Values of mutual respect and tolerance, where everyone is treated fairly and differences are celebrated. Pupils are encouraged to make positive choices, take pride in their work and contribute to a calm, supportive learning environment.

Building strong partnerships with families is central to our class ethos. We value open communication and believe that working closely with parents and carers helps children to feel supported, confident and successful both in school and beyond. Together, we strive to create a learning experience where every child can thrive.
